Most people think of chivalry as a code of honor or a set of polite manners from old stories. Avalon goes much deeper. We see chivalry as a complete way of life; a belief system with a moral framework, daily practices, rituals, and a higher calling to protect, guide, and uplift humanity. It’s not just “be nice.” It’s a structured path of training the body, mind, and spirit, living by a Code, pursuing quests, and choosing virtue over chaos every single day.

That’s why Avalon is registered as a religious corporation. Avalon isn’t a club, a hobby, or a martial arts gym. It’s a living faith; non-deifying, compatible with other beliefs, but still a religion in every meaningful sense. It gives people purpose, community, and a timeless framework for becoming better than they were. When you live The Way, you’re not just following rules. You’re answering a call to something greater. That’s religion. And that’s Avalon.

Can anyone follow Avalon?

Of course, anyone can choose to follow the Way. This, however, is not the same as joining the Order of Avalon. That being said, there are religions, beliefs, and ideologies that are incompatible with Avalon.

Is the Avalon a Historical Reenacment Group?

No, the Avalon is not a reenactment or living history group. It is about bringing Chivalry and Knightly ideals to the present, not pretending to be in the past.

Though you will see symbolism, icons, ceremonies, and martial training reminiscent of the past, we use these traditions to keep the spirit of Chivalry alive and present, but in the modern day.

Where does the Avalon stand Politically?

The Order stands for the Freedom, Nobility, Virtue, and Survival of the humanity regardless of the political currents. That being said Avalon and the Order are not compatible with "Woke" ideologies or many ideologies of the political "Left" in Western Cultures. Many of these ideologies are antithetical to human freedom, functionality, and survival.

Issue #1: Gender, Biological Sex, and Transgender Ideology

What is Avalon’s position on gender and biological sex?

Avalon affirms biological reality: human beings are a sexually dimorphic species. There are two sexes — male and female — determined by chromosomes, gametes, and reproductive anatomy at conception. This is not a social construct, a feeling, or a spectrum. It is an immutable biological fact.

We have deep compassion for people who experience gender dysphoria. They deserve kindness, mental health support, and the truth — not affirmation that leads to irreversible harm. We categorically reject the idea that children or adolescents can consent to puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, or surgical mutilation. These interventions are experimental, often sterilizing, and have caused profound regret and lifelong damage to thousands of young people. Avalon will never support or remain silent about the medical transition of minors.

Adults are free to live as they choose, but biological males cannot become women, and biological females cannot become men. Sports, prisons, shelters, bathrooms, and single-sex spaces must remain sex-based for reasons of fairness, safety, and privacy. Any ideology that demands we deny these realities — or punishes people for speaking them — is a form of chaos that harms women, children, and truth itself.

We stand with biological reality, with protecting children, and with the right of every person to speak the truth without fear.

Issue #2: The Family and Children

What is Avalon’s position on family and children?

Avalon holds the natural family — a mother, a father, and the children they create together — as the single most important and effective foundation for a healthy, stable, and virtuous society. It is the original institution for raising strong, resilient human beings who carry forward the best of humanity.

We celebrate marriage, committed parenting, and the deliberate choice to have and raise children as among the highest and most meaningful callings a person can answer. A society that discourages or makes family formation difficult is a society in decline.

We oppose all cultural, ideological, and policy forces that undermine the family. This includes:

The normalization of fatherlessness and the devaluing of motherhood
Anti-natalist messaging that portrays children as burdens or environmental threats
The glorification of permanent childlessness or “child-free” lifestyles as superior
Easy divorce culture that treats marriage as temporary
Any ideology or system that separates children from their parents or exposes them to adult concepts before they are ready

Single parents doing their best deserve compassion and practical support. However, we will not pretend that single-parent or non-traditional structures are equivalent to the ideal of a stable mother-father home. The data and human experience are clear.

Children are not the property of the state, schools, or social movements. Parents have the primary and sacred right to raise and educate their own children.

Avalon stands unapologetically for strong, intact families and for the courage it takes to bring new life into the world and raise it well. We believe the future belongs to those who show up for the next generation.

Issue #3: Victimhood Mentality and Grievance Culture

What is Avalon’s position on victimhood and personal responsibility?

Avalon completely rejects the modern cult of victimhood.

We believe every human being is born with inherent dignity and the capacity to grow stronger through adversity. Hardship is real — poverty, abuse, discrimination, tragedy, and injustice exist — but they do not define a person’s future unless they choose to let them.

The victimhood mentality — the belief that your race, gender, sexuality, past trauma, or any other identity makes you permanently oppressed and therefore not responsible for your own life — is one of the most destructive forces in our time. It robs people of agency, breeds resentment, and turns individuals into perpetual victims rather than capable men and women.

Avalon teaches the opposite:

Your past may explain you, but it does not excuse you.
Blame is easy. Ownership is hard. We choose ownership.
No one is coming to save you. You must become the one who saves yourself — and then helps others do the same.

We have zero tolerance for grievance politics that weaponize identity to divide people, demand unearned privileges, or punish success. “Equity” that lowers standards, “reparations” based on ancestry rather than individual harm, and any ideology that teaches entire groups they are permanent oppressors or permanent victims are forms of chaos we will name and oppose.

Compassion is required. Justice is required. But pity disguised as justice destroys people. True justice is color-blind, merit-based, and rooted in personal responsibility.

Avalon calls every person — regardless of background — to rise. To train. To build. To reject the lie that you are powerless. The world is hard, but you are not fragile. You were born for more than excuses.

What is Avalon’s position on race, racism, and racial identity politics?

Avalon judges every human being as an individual — never by race, skin color, ancestry, or any other group identity. We reject all forms of racism, whether old-fashioned bigotry or the modern “anti-racism” that simply flips the script and assigns guilt or privilege based on skin color.

Biological race is real (genetic population differences exist), but it is never an excuse for hatred, discrimination, or lowered expectations. True justice is color-blind. Merit, character, behavior, and personal effort are what matter. Any system that treats people differently based on race — affirmative action, race-based hiring quotas, reparations based on ancestry, or “equity” programs that punish excellence — is unjust and corrosive to society.

We oppose Critical Race Theory (CRT), DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) initiatives, and any ideology that teaches:

That one race is inherently oppressive or inherently victimized
That “whiteness,” “Blackness,” or any racial category defines a person’s moral worth or opportunities
That objective truth, merit, or standards are “racist” constructs

These ideas do not heal division — they manufacture it. They turn neighbors into enemies and replace the dream of equal opportunity with a nightmare of permanent grievance and racial score-settling.

Avalon stands for genuine equality under the law and in opportunity. We celebrate excellence in every race and culture. We will call out real racism wherever it appears, but we will never participate in the lie that racial group identity is the most important thing about a person.

Racism is evil. Racial identity politics is also evil. Avalon chooses neither. We choose the individual. We choose merit. We choose unity through shared virtue rather than division through skin color.

Issue #5: Mass Migration and Immigration Policy

What is Avalon’s position on mass migration and immigration?

Avalon supports legal, controlled, and assimilative immigration that strengthens the host nation and respects its existing culture, laws, and people.

We recognize that large-scale, rapid, and often uncontrolled mass migration — particularly from regions with vastly different values, low assimilation rates, or incompatible belief systems — creates real and measurable harm. It strains housing, healthcare, schools, welfare systems, and law enforcement. It can dramatically lower social trust, increase crime in certain communities, and fragment national identity. When migration happens faster than a society can absorb and integrate newcomers, the result is not “diversity” but division, parallel societies, and rising tension.

Avalon rejects the modern open-border ideology that treats national borders as immoral or that demands Western nations accept unlimited numbers of migrants regardless of cost or cultural compatibility. Nations have the sovereign right — and the moral duty — to control their borders and choose who enters. Compassion for refugees and the genuinely persecuted is part of the chivalric code, but compassion without wisdom is self-destruction.

We also oppose the weaponization of migration as a political or demographic tool. Deliberately importing large groups that vote a certain way, consume welfare at high rates, or refuse to adopt the host nation’s core values is not kindness — it is demographic replacement and cultural erasure by other means.

Avalon’s standard is simple:

Immigration must be legal and orderly.
Immigrants must be vetted for criminal history, health, and basic compatibility with Western values (individual rights, equality under law, separation of religion and state).
Immigrants must be expected to assimilate — to learn the language, respect the culture, and contribute rather than form enclaves that reject the host society.
The pace must be sustainable so that social cohesion is preserved.

Mass migration without these guardrails is not progress. It is chaos. Avalon will name it as such and stand against it.

Issue #6: Islam, Sharia Law, and Religious Extremism

What is Avalon’s position on Islam and Sharia Law?

Avalon judges every religion and ideology by one standard: Does it uplift human flourishing, individual liberty, and virtue — or does it suppress them?

We have no quarrel with peaceful Muslims who live as loyal citizens, respect Western law, and reject violence. However, we will not lie about the clear and documented incompatibility between core Islamic doctrine (as practiced by millions and taught in many mosques and madrassas) and the foundational values of Western civilization.

Sharia Law — in any form — is incompatible with Avalon and with a free society. It explicitly calls for:

Supremacy of Islamic law over secular law
Second-class status for women and non-Muslims (dhimmi)
Severe punishments for apostasy, blasphemy, and homosexuality (including death in many interpretations)
The concept of jihad (both internal and external) as a religious duty

These are not “extremist” interpretations — they are mainstream in large parts of the Islamic world and are supported by core Islamic texts and centuries of jurisprudence.

Avalon will never accept parallel legal systems, no-go zones, honor violence, FGM, child marriage, or any demand that Western societies accommodate Sharia norms. Freedom of religion does not include the freedom to impose theocratic tyranny or to treat non-Muslims as inferior.

We also reject the lie that all criticism of Islam is “Islamophobia.” Honest examination of any belief system is not hatred — it is necessary. Ideas that produce terrorism, oppression of women, subjugation, and the suppression of free speech must be confronted with courage, not excused with political correctness.

Avalon welcomes individuals of any compatible faith who fully embrace Western values of liberty, equality under the law, and separation of religion and state. But we will name and oppose any ideology — Islamic or otherwise — that seeks to replace those values with medieval theocracy.

Truth is not bigotry. Survival is not hate.

Issue #7: Modern Feminism and Gender Roles

What is Avalon’s position on modern feminism and gender roles?

Avalon celebrates the profound and beautiful differences between men and women. Men and women are not identical — biologically, psychologically, and in their natural strengths and inclinations. These differences are not defects to be erased, but complementary gifts that, when honored, create stronger families, stronger communities, and a stronger civilization.

We fully support equal rights under the law and equal opportunity for both sexes. A capable woman should never be held back from any role, career, or pursuit simply because of her sex, and a capable man should never be excluded either. Standards of excellence — especially in physically demanding fields such as military combat roles, police work, firefighting, and sports — must remain high and objective. They are never to be lowered to achieve equal outcomes.

Avalon opposes:

The narrative that portrays men as oppressors and women as perpetual victims
The shaming of traditional gender roles and stay-at-home mothers
No-fault divorce culture that has devastated families and children
The promotion of “toxic masculinity” as a blanket attack on male nature
Any ideology that seeks to make men and women the same rather than complementary

Avalon honors the unique strengths of both men and women and respects every individual’s right to pursue the path that best fits their calling and capabilities. A woman who chooses a demanding career or a man who chooses to be a stay-at-home father faces no judgment from us. Motherhood and fatherhood are noble and vital callings, but they are not the only honorable paths.

We oppose modern feminism’s war on masculinity, its devaluing of motherhood, and its portrayal of men and women as natural enemies rather than natural partners. The concept of “toxic masculinity” is rejected — healthy masculinity is protective, responsible, and strong. Healthy femininity is graceful, nurturing, and resilient.

Avalon stands for a vision where strong men and strong women work together in mutual respect, each bringing their best qualities to build something greater than either could alone. True empowerment does not come from denying differences or tearing down one sex to lift the other. It comes from embracing who we truly are — with wisdom, honor, and freedom of choice.

Issue #8: Cancel Culture, Free Speech, and “Hate Speech”

What is Avalon’s position on free speech, cancel culture, and “hate speech”?

Avalon holds free speech as a sacred and non-negotiable right. Truth cannot be discovered, defended, or preserved without the freedom to speak it — even when it offends, even when it is uncomfortable, and even when it challenges the prevailing narrative.

We reject “cancel culture” and the weaponization of social, professional, or institutional power to silence, shame, or destroy people for expressing dissenting views. No one has the right to ruin another person’s life, career, or reputation simply because their words or opinions cause emotional discomfort.

The concept of “hate speech” is a dangerous tool used to shut down legitimate debate. What one group labels “hate” is often simply truth that another group does not want to hear. Avalon will never accept the idea that certain truths are too dangerous to speak. We will defend the right of every person to question, criticize, or disagree — including criticism of governments, religions, ideologies, or protected groups — as long as it does not directly incite imminent violence.

True tolerance is not agreement. It is the willingness to let people speak even when you strongly disagree with them. A society that cannot handle disagreement is a society sliding into tyranny.

Issue #9: Abortion

What is Avalon’s position on abortion?

Avalon regards human life as sacred from the moment of conception. A unique human being — with its own DNA, heartbeat, and potential — exists at fertilization. We therefore view the deliberate ending of that innocent life as a grave moral wrong in the vast majority of cases.

However, we recognize the darkest and most tragic exceptions: pregnancy resulting from rape or incest, or situations involving severe, life-threatening health complications to the mother. In these extremely rare and heartbreaking circumstances, Avalon leaves the final, agonizing decision in the hands of the mother, her conscience, her family, and her faith. We do not believe the state should force a woman to carry a child conceived in violence, nor should it demand she risk her own life when her health is gravely endangered.

That said, Avalon strongly opposes the overwhelming majority of abortions performed today — those used as a form of birth control, for reasons of convenience, or after viability. We reject late-term abortion and the casual normalization of ending human life. We believe society’s focus must be on prevention through better support: comprehensive prenatal care, financial assistance for mothers in crisis, adoption reform, and a culture that once again honors motherhood and fatherhood as noble callings rather than burdens.

We choose life as the default and the ideal, while extending deep compassion and understanding in the darkest exceptions. True chivalry protects the vulnerable — both the unborn child and the woman facing impossible circumstances.

Issue #10: Climate Change, Environmentalism, and “Climate Alarmism”

What is Avalon’s position on climate change and environmentalism?

Avalon believes in wise stewardship of the natural world. We are knights of both humanity and the Earth — charged with protecting its beauty, resources, and ecosystems for future generations. Clean air, clean water, healthy soil, thriving wildlife, and responsible land use are noble and necessary goals.

We acknowledge that the Earth’s climate has always changed and that human activity contributes to current changes. However, we completely reject the climate alarmism, apocalyptic fear-mongering, and authoritarian control that now dominate the modern environmental movement.

The endless doomsday predictions, the demand for trillions in global wealth redistribution, the war on affordable and reliable energy, the push to ban meat and private vehicles, and the narrative that human beings are a plague on the planet are all forms of chaos. These ideologies punish the poor most severely, destroy jobs and freedom, and consistently fail to deliver real environmental improvement.

Avalon supports practical, pro-human environmentalism:

Advanced nuclear power and next-generation clean energy technologies as the fastest, most realistic path to reducing emissions

Reforestation, conservation, and genuine pollution control

Innovation and wealth creation — because richer societies are cleaner and better able to protect nature

Solutions that lift people out of poverty rather than pushing them deeper into it

We oppose degrowth ideology, net-zero extremism that sacrifices human prosperity, carbon taxes that act as punishment on the working class, and any movement that treats human flourishing as the enemy of the Earth.

Humanity is not a virus. We are the Earth’s most capable caretakers and improvers. Avalon chooses both human advancement and responsible care of nature — without guilt, without fear, and without surrendering our freedom to global bureaucracies.

Issue #11: LGBTQ+ Ideology, Pride Culture, and Same-Sex Relationships

What is Avalon’s position on LGBTQ+ ideology and Pride culture?

Avalon believes every adult human being deserves basic dignity and the right to live their private life in peace, free from violence or persecution. We do not support hatred or harm toward any individual based on their sexual attractions or personal identity.

However, we firmly reject the modern LGBTQ+ political ideology and Pride culture as it has evolved in recent decades. While same-sex attraction is a real experience for some people, Avalon does not treat it as an immutable core identity that must be celebrated or granted special legal and cultural privileges.

Avalon fully respects the right of consenting adults to form private relationships as they choose. At the same time, we hold that marriage between one man and one woman is a sacred institution and the natural, foundational unit for raising the next generation and building a healthy society. As a religious order rooted in chivalric tradition, Avalon will only perform marriages between men and women. Those seeking same-sex marriage ceremonies have many other options available through different beliefs and civil authorities.

We strongly oppose:

The sexualization of children through Drag Queen Story Hour events, pride parades aimed at minors, and early sexual or gender-identity education in schools
The normalization of extreme sexual practices, non-monogamy, and public displays of kink in family-friendly spaces
The demand that society must affirm, celebrate, and legally equate all identities and behaviors under the LGBTQ+ umbrella with traditional marriage and family
The use of government, corporations, schools, and social pressure to punish or silence anyone who disagrees with these ideologies

Avalon draws a clear line: Adults may live as they choose in private. Children must be protected. Public institutions and culture should not be required to celebrate or promote any sexual ideology. We will defend the right of individuals to live according to their conscience, while refusing to surrender truth, biology, or the innocence of children to any movement that demands universal affirmation.

What is Avalon’s position on public education and parental rights?

Avalon holds that parents have the primary, natural, and sacred right to direct the upbringing and education of their own children. No government, school system, or ideological movement has a higher claim over a child than their mother and father.

The modern public education system has largely lost its way. Instead of teaching children how to think, many schools now teach them what to think. Curricula are increasingly saturated with political and social ideologies — gender theory, critical race theory, radical environmentalism, and revisionist history — often at the expense of foundational skills in reading, writing, mathematics, logic, and real history.

Avalon opposes:

The sexualization of children in schools through explicit content, gender ideology, or social transitioning without full parental knowledge and consent
The replacement of objective truth and Western civilizational achievements with grievance-based or activist-driven narratives
Schools actively hiding information from parents or undermining parental authority

We strongly support genuine educational freedom. Parents should have real choices — public, charter, private, religious, or homeschool — without financial penalty for choosing what is best for their child. Competition, accountability, and parental involvement produce far better outcomes than monopolistic systems.

True education forms strong minds, strong bodies, and strong character. Its purpose is to create capable, resilient, truth-seeking adults — not compliant activists or fragile victims.

Parents are the first and most important educators of their children. Avalon will always stand firmly on the side of parental rights and the protection of childhood innocence.
